Horse Hire

Ditchling Common Stud is able to provide horses and riders for mounted skill-at-arms work from the Middle Ages to the First World War. We have horses and riders trained in the use of the sword, the lance and the revolver. Many of our horses and riders compete nationally and internationally.

HORSE RIDING DISCLAIMER

Horse riding is a high risk sport. It is recommended that you take out your own personal accident insurance. We have taken every precaution we can to minimise the associated risks however, horses remain unpredictable animals so please take care and accept that accidents do happen!

DCS Horse Riding Tuition: Terms & Conditions

Horse Riding Lessons should be paid for in advance. Horse Riding Lessons cancelled less than 4 days before the appointed time will be charged at the full rate. Clients who fail to arrive for their horse riding lesson will also be charged at the full rate. Clients who wish to hold regular booking slots will be expected to use them at least 11 times in every 13 week period.
