BHS courses are run at our yard by qualified BHS instructors.

A 10-week BHS Stage II course is due to start on 26 September.  A BHS Stage I course will most likely be run early in 2011.   In addition to courses, we offer individual tuition for people in preparation for Stage I or Stage II exams.  If you wish either to book onto the September course or to book individual tuition,  please contact the office

BHS approved riding schools and liveries comply with the latest health and safety guidelines. They are insured against public liability, and take excellent care of the horses and ponies. Ditchling Common Stud is a British Horse Society (BHS) examination centre. We have experienced teachers and instructors who are British Horse Society (BHS) registered.

HORSE RIDING DISCLAIMER

Horse riding is a high risk sport. It is recommended that you take out your own personal accident insurance. We have taken every precaution we can to minimise the associated risks however, horses remain unpredictable animals so please take care and accept that accidents do happen!

DCS Horse Riding Tuition: Terms & Conditions

Horse Riding Lessons should be paid for in advance. Horse Riding Lessons cancelled less than 4 days before the appointed time will be charged at the full rate. Clients who fail to arrive for their horse riding lesson will also be charged at the full rate. Clients who wish to hold regular booking slots will be expected to use them at least 11 times in every 13 week period.

** Email cancellations will not be accepted - any cancellation must be made verbally, with the office.**
