Hacks on the South Downs Way, Sussex

Set in the heart of Sussex, close to the South Downs Way, DCS is perfect for a weekend horse riding, holiday break and hack out. Our large horsebox allows us to journey to remote corners of Sussex.

B & B accommodation is available for people riding at Ditchling Common Stud (see accommodation page). We can also point you in the direction of some excellent, local alternatives. There is a lot to do and to see in Sussex, see www.visitsussex.org for more information.

Cost of Hacks for adults for 3 hours is £110.

New clients must have an assessment lesson before we can take you out on a hack.

Horse Riding Holidays

Horse riding in Sussex is a fine way to get a true understanding of the countryside, its culture, and its huge equestrian history.  At Ditchling Common Stud we train and prepare our clients to ride to a level where they can go out and ride on holidays all over the world.  Local riding holidays in Sussex - based at Ditchling Common Stud - can be organised.

HORSE RIDING DISCLAIMER

Horse riding is a high risk sport. It is recommended that you take out your own personal accident insurance. We have taken every precaution we can to minimise the associated risks however, horses remain unpredictable animals so please take care and accept that accidents do happen!

DCS Horse Riding Tuition: Terms & Conditions

Horse Riding Lessons should be paid for in advance. Horse Riding Lessons cancelled less than 4 days before the appointed time will be charged at the full rate. Clients who fail to arrive for their horse riding lesson will also be charged at the full rate. Clients who wish to hold regular booking slots will be expected to use them at least 11 times in every 13 week period.

** Email cancellations will not be accepted - any cancellation must be made verbally, with the office.**
