Childrens Horse Riding Lessons (15 & under) are a specialty, we are a member of the Pony Club and children's rallies are held at DCS every school holiday. We offer horse riding lessons in Sussex for everyone from novice to advanced.

Youngsters Camp 28-31 July 2008 - You will care for a pony, work on your show jumping, x-country and dressage ready for a mini one-day event on Thursday. Opportunities to try out Skill-at-Arms. Evening activities include BBQ, quizzes and games. Click here for details.

Children's Parties, from grooming a pony and supervised rides for the inexperienced rider to gymkhana type games for the more experienced. Food can be provided but not birthday cakes. Contact Sue for details.

Horse Riding Lessons in Sussex

Ditchling Common Stud in Sussex, offers horse riding lessons and tuition for novices and beginners, for children and adults. We have novice training days, leading-rein teaching and pony club activities. We organise lectures and equitation exams. This is an active centre of equine activity. Horse riding lessons are given here in Sussex, from Tuesday through Sunday. Horse riding courses are sometimes given on a Monday evening. Ditchling Common Stud is a British Horse Society (BHS) examination centre. We have experienced teachers and instructors who are British Horse Society (BHS) registered.

HORSE RIDING DISCLAIMER

Horse riding is a high risk sport. It is recommended that you take out your own personal accident insurance. We have taken every precaution we can to minimise the associated risks however, horses remain unpredictable animals so please take care and accept that accidents do happen!

DCS Horse Riding Tuition: Terms & Conditions

Horse Riding Lessons should be paid for in advance. Horse Riding Lessons cancelled less than 4 days before the appointed time will be charged at the full rate. Clients who fail to arrive for their horse riding lesson will also be charged at the full rate. Clients who wish to hold regular booking slots will be expected to use them at least 11 times in every 13 week period.
